Patient, friendly female instructor. Fully qualified DSA ADI as well as a Registered and Qualified nurse, I specialise in nervous pupils who need that little bit extra. I offer one hour, one and a half hours and two hour lessons. Pick up and drop off points by arrangement, I can pick you up from home and drop you in town or home whichever you please. Or from work if neccessary and drop you home.
The tuition vehicle you will be driving is the new diesel Suzuki Swift DDIS 1.3 Turbo Diesel 5 door, an ideal learner vehicle and car of the year 2005.Featuring Air conditioning for comfort, front fog lights just in case we might need them! power steering, electric windows and central locking,electric mirrors as well as heated, anti locking brakes (ABS) adjustable steering wheel and fully adjustable seat suitable for all sizes.
It has a nippy little engine and is great fun to drive as well as one of the smallest super minis in it's class so you can easily nip into the tightest of parking spots!
Instruction will be on a one to one basis and your tuition will be tailored to suit your needs because everyone is different. I also give handouts through out the lessons to help you remember what we have just learnt, these are very useful and will help aid you through out the course of your lessons with me.I also use visual aids during lessons to help you understand what i am teaching you.
I offer theory help and support as part of the package, i will bring my laptop along in the car if you wish so we can practise the theory and hazard perception.I also give you mock theory test papers as homework to. You will get help with the show me tell me part of the driving test and i have handouts for that to.
As you approach test standard having passed your theory I will set up a mock test for you with another instructor in my vehicle so you can get experience of how it will feel the day of your test so you are better prepared. I will support you every step of the way.
I use a log book system so both of us can see how you are progressing each lesson, at the end of the lesson we will go through it together so you can see your strengths and weaknesses, this will help you to understand what you need to work on to become a more competent driver.
You should always look forward to your lessons, they will be relaxed, yet structured, so a good calm learning environment for you. I am at my most relaxed in the passenger seat teaching as i have such a passion for it.
I also do refresher lesson for people with a full licence who may need help with parking for instance or who have become a little frightened of todays roads, lets face it they are a lot busier than they used to be! Or people who for whatever reason haven't driven for a while want to top up a little before driving alone.

I also offer pass plus which to be honest is totally invaluable, it can give you a years no claims discount which pays for the course itself as such, or up to 30 percent off your insurance you MUST check your insurance offers the discount though, there is no test at the end of it it will be 6 hours with me assisting you especially on motorways the further experience you will gain will indeed be totally invaluable.
